Avoid sunburn: no outdoor sun or indoor tanning beds

No hair removal: skip licking and waxing to allow skin to heal.

No anti-aging or acne creams: including Retin-A and Retinol

No acid serums of any kind.
48 HOURS BEFORE
Medications & Lip Care

Moisturize lips continuously: for PMU lip treatments only

Avoid blood thinning medications: Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega-3 (Tylenol is fine, if necessary.

Stop Valtrex: for PMU lip treatments only
24 HOURS BEFORE
Day-Before Rules

No alcohol
-
No caffeine: coffee, soda, energy drinks, etc.
After Care: Brow Edition
Follow these instructions carefully to ensure the best possible results.
DAYS 1-10
First healing phase

Do not get brows wet: wait until the area is completed healed.

Apply healing balms 2-3 times daily using a cotton bud, not your fingers.

No makeup on the treatment area.

No swimming, saunas, jacuzzis, hot pilates, or tanning beds.
2 WEEKS
Active Healing
-
Do not pick, peel, or scratch - risk of scarring and pigment loss.

Avoid direct sun exposure
-
Apply SPF 20 or higher after day 10 has passed.

Avoid excessive alcohol, it can slow healing.
1 MONTH
Continued Care

No cosmetic treatments; facials, skin peels, laser, etc.

Avoid creams with Glycolic acid or Retin-A.
LONG TERM
Maintain your results

In warmer climates, keep brows covered with a hat or large sunglasses.

Use high SPF daily to protect color and keep results vibrant

Avoid exfoliation on the treatment area

Annual color refresh recommended to keep results fresh and long-lasting.

Follow these instructions carefully to ensure the best possible results.

Immediate Aftercare

COLD SORE NOTICE
If you suffer from cold sores or herpes simplex, please use Zovirax for 7 days prior to your appointment and 7 days after treatment. Do not use the healing balm during this time.
